It is a great pleasure and honor for the University of Oulu to invite you to join the 13th International Conference on Productivity and Quality Research (ICPQR 2008), to be held in Oulu, Finland, on 25th – 27th June, 2008. We are proud that the International Society for Productivity and Quality Research (ISPQR) gave us the opportunity to arrange such an important event for academia and industry in the field of productivity and quality research.
The ICPQR 2008 Conference is targeted for professionals on productivity and quality research and development, both in academia and industry. The programme offers keynote lectures, research reports, and practical applications of productivity and quality in knowledge-based organizations. The conference venue, Oulu, has an image as an active city that is prosperous for business, and also has good public services, safe atmosphere and diverse natural environment. Due to the interdisciplinary university and international companies, Oulu has become an internationally well-known technological city. The city is easily accessible by all means of transportation. Finland's most-travelling flight connections between Helsinki and Oulu provide strong base for our profile as a conferense and congress city.
