Kansei Engineering is well known throughout the world as an ergonomic new product development technology. Kansei is a Japan term which implies psychological feeling and need in mind. Kansei Engineering means an ergonomic human-oriented technology of developing a new product which a customers deeply want to have and structuring productive organization. Until now, the Kansei Engineering has been applied to the industries of automobile, home electric appliance, construction machine, costume, cosmetic as well as housing. It has prevailed in the world from domestic product design to civil engineering and even urban design.
